The 32nd Hanover Beer Festival will be held on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th October 2019.
This beloved beer fest in the heart of Hanover has been helping locals taste the finest tipples from around Sussex for over thirty years.
If you fancy reminiscing on past festivals you can go to our previous years pages.
Our wonderful sponsors:
We couldn’t hold the festival without their generosity…
Freshly painted Hanover Homes (top of Southover Street) is the joining of two long-established Brighton and Hove family estate and letting agents, including Barrie Alderton, who has sponsored our souvenir drinking vessels for many years.
They told us: “We are very happy to continue Barrie Alderton Estate Agents’ long association and sponsorship of the Hanover Beer Festival, and look forward to raising a pint or two in October.”
Here’s a pic of the team outside their smart new office.
Thank you for all your support, guys. A beer festival without glasses is like Stan without Laurel.
Electrical contractors AJ Taylor have – once again – sponsored the tasting notes at this year’s beer festival!
Andy Taylor has been sponsoring our festival for 18 years, and this year his contribution will get you all buzzing (last pun, I swear) as he makes sure every festival-goer picks the right beers.
Andy is Hanover to the core. He was born in the Elm Grove area 58 years ago. For five years he stationed his business on Cobden Road before moving Brading Road for the next 25. They’ve since relocated near The Gladstone but are still Hanover at heart.
Cheers guys, looking forward to seeing the picks for this year!
Q Estate Agents will be sponsoring the tickets for this year’s beer festival!
When not selling and letting homes in Brighton, Q works with and donates to a number of organisations within the local community including Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, The Artists Open House Festival and our very own Hanover Community Association.
What lovely folks!
Reeves Transport Planning is going to be supplying every ticketholder with a pencil made especially for fervent notetakers.
Steve Reeves has been a great help with the festival in the past and has sponsored many a barrel before and even helped us to cut back the ivy in the Community Centre garden so we can fit the marquee in!
Thank you guys!
By sponsoring a barrel, these public-spirited local businesses helped to make the beer festival a magnificent fund-raiser for the Hanover Centre. Our grateful thanks go to all of you:
