Unfortunately, our AGM coincided with a torrential downpour, and we didn’t quite meet the quorum needed. Our constitution says we must reconvene it within 14 days, and we have decided to try this Sunday (12th October).
We’ll be tagging onto the end of the party being held at the Hanover Centre by Washington Street residents, so we can offer you tea, coffee and soft drinks. We’ll be meeting from about 7.00pm to start at 7.30pm.
We hope you will be able to come – the business part of the meeting (accepting reports, electing trustees, etc) will take no more than 30 minutes, so there will be plenty of time for questions and discussions about what the community association should be doing. This is a particularly good time to get involved – we have built up funds to get on with some improvements to the Hanover Centre and start to widen our range of community activities.
You can read a summary of the report to the AGM here (The full report will be available at the AGM, and on this website after the AGM).
