I've set up a petition to oppose the hanover & elm grove parking scheme and would like to let everyone know who maybe unhappy with the idea of the scheme where to sign.

This scheme doesn't guarantee that we'll be able to park in our streets and brighton council will earn initially something in the region of £400,000. This doesn't include the visitor permits or the revenue from the parking meters which will more than likely push this sum tto over £800,000. To say that this is a non profit making scheme is a little more than dubious!

If you are opposed to this current parking scheme and wish to let
Brighton & Hove Council know that you do not want to have to pay
£108 per year to park in your street, then please sign this petition.
