At the heart of Hanover

7. Floor Insulation

Best to install when the floor is replaced, this would reduce heat losses from 5% to 3% of the total energy lost. This will also increase the users’ comfort as they will not notice such a temperature difference on the ground floor. This kind of work can also seal off any gaps between floorboards (such as the suspended wooden floor of the Main Hall of the Hanover Centre) and so address drafts on the lithe prone bodies of those attending yoga.

Overall these are major works and can only realistically be considered when the floor is replaced, which won’t be too long ….
